The CRE Academy is a free, self-paced online commercial real estate certification in AI-assisted analysis. It runs across three levels of short video lessons, each level ending in a quiz. It is built for students and early-career professionals who want to prove they can produce and verify commercial real estate analysis in an AI-assisted workflow.
Most commercial real estate courses teach you to build the analysis. This one teaches you to build it and then check it. Levels 2 and 3 are organized around the specific errors AI makes on commercial real estate documents and comps, and the checks that catch each one. It is also tool-neutral, so nothing you learn is tied to one piece of software.
You will be able to take a commercial real estate deal from raw documents through to a defensible investment or credit recommendation, using AI to handle the production work, and verify every number before it leaves your desk. Level 1 covers the fundamentals and the documents, Level 2 covers the full analysis workflow and the checks that catch AI errors, and Level 3 covers assumptions, sensitivities, and writing the memo.
The Academy is completely free. All three levels, every lesson, every quiz, and every certificate are available at no cost, and there is no payment step at any point in the program.
You earn a certificate for each level you complete, and each one carries a credential ID you can add to LinkedIn or list on a resume. Completing all three levels earns the full Certified AI-Augmented CRE Analyst credential.
No prior experience is needed. Level 1 assumes no background at all and starts with asset classes, the core deal documents, and the metrics that drive decisions. Levels 2 and 3 build on that foundation in order.

The full program is roughly six and a half hours of video across all three levels, plus the time you spend on the quizzes. Individual lessons run three to six minutes each.
No. The Academy is tool-neutral from start to finish. It does not train you on the Smart Capital Center platform or on any other product, and there is nothing you need to buy or download.
